What is a Seder?

The Seder is a ceremonial feast that marks the beginning of the Jewish festival of Passover. At its core, it is a time-honored tradition of storytelling, bringing together friends and family to retell the tale of the Israelites' liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt. The word "Seder" itself means "order," symbolizing the structured sequence of rituals and shared narratives that make this experience so poignant.

Our Unique Unity Seder: Embracing Shared Stories

The themes of Passover resonate with the human experience of overcoming adversity, seeking liberation, and fostering unity. The Seder offers a powerful platform to reflect on our collective journeys and the pursuit of freedom as a universal aspiration that unites us all.

This year, we invite you to join us for a special Atlanta Unity Seder where we will explore our parallel narratives of exodus and liberation. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where individuals from diverse backgrounds can share their own stories of overcoming challenges, forging alliances, and embodying the spirit of freedom.
