AJC partnered with the broader Jewish community to discourage the Palm Beach County School Board from rehiring William Latson, a former Boca Raton high school principal, who was unwilling to state that the “Holocaust is a factual historical event.” In a major reversal, the school board voted 7-0 to rescind its decision to reinstate the principal, sending a clear message that Holocaust denial has no place in Palm Beach County schools.
