U.S. Mayors Bond with Israel

Following AJC's successful “Mayors United Against Antisemitism” initiative, Project Interchange led its second bipartisan delegation to Israel of American mayors. Featuring Israeli best practices relevant to mayors and their cities, the delegation was designed to foster bilateral economic partnerships, and it got the mayors to call their experience in Israel “inspiring” in a Jerusalem Post interview. 

The tour included visits to Sderot, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, the Syrian border, and Ziv Medical Center in Safed, which is treating Syrians wounded in their civil war.
