In this session, moderated by Wayne Sussman, Director of the AJC Africa Institute, the experts discuss key issues surrounding Israel-Africa relations: the role of innovation and technology, demography, trade, and security, along with numerous opportunities for cooperation in areas such as agriculture, energy, healthcare, and more.
The panel of experts includes Yosef Abramowitz, President and CEO of Energiya Global Capital and a pioneer in the Israeli solar industry; Danielle Abraham, Executive Director at Volcani International Partnerships; Yotam Polizer, CEO of IsraAID, an international non-governmental humanitarian aid organization based in Israel; and Amb. Sharon Bar-li, Deputy Director General for Africa in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since its founding in 2006, the AJC Africa Institute has established enduring ties with civil society and governments across Africa, as well as with African diasporas in the United States.
