Abigail Pogrebin is the author of My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays; One Wondering Jew, which was a finalist for a 2018 National Jewish Book Award. During the pandemic, she wrote a series for the Forward called “Still Small Voice:18 Questions about God,” for which she interviewed 18 clergy and scholars including AJC’s Dr. Laura Shaw Frank. She anchors an interview series at The Manhattan JCC, and has moderated conversations for The Streicker Center, Shalom Hartman Institute, and UJA. She is a Past President of Central Synagogue in NYC and serves on the board of Yale’s Hillel and on AJC’s Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council. She and her husband have two college graduates — one of whom was in AJC’s inaugural LFT class.
