AJC Transatlantic Institute

For more than a decade, AJC has been present at the heart of Europe—in its capital city.

Founded in 2004 and headquartered in Brussels, the AJC Transatlantic Institute (TAI) engages EU and NATO officials as well as diplomatic missions, journalists, think tanks, and civil society leaders to strengthen the transatlantic bond and EU-Israel ties.

Underlining the values shared by Europe, Israel, and the U.S., TAI promotes transatlantic cooperation to fight terrorism, extremism, and antisemitism, and works for a strategic partnership between the EU and Israel.

AJC on the Ground

TAI staff members meet regularly with high-ranking EU and NATO officials, diplomats, and politicians from across the political spectrum, getting our message out to key policymakers and shapers of opinion in Brussels. Our conferences and background briefings stimulate and inform policy debate within the EU, and our network of experts from Europe, Israel, and the U.S. add critical insights and perspectives to the conversation in Brussels.

TAI advocates for a strategic partnership between Israel and the EU, stands at the forefront of the fight against the resurgence of antisemitism in Europe, and promotes the transatlantic bond between Europe and the U.S.

Through traditional and social media, TAI provides its constituencies information and analysis to help them formulate the policies best suited to protect European and U.S. security, and to advance pluralism and democracy in the world.
