The Coordinator, supports the work of the Department of Policy and Political Affairs, to include diplomatic engagement, legislative and political outreach, and efforts to address domestic antisemitism. The Coordinator reports to and provides support to the Senior Director of Policy and Political Affairs.

Responsibilities Include:
Diplomatic:
- Ensure diplomatic contact lists are updated
- Prepare invitations and correspondence
- Assist in the preparation of diplomatic briefing papers and diplomatic research
- Aid in the planning and logistics of diplomatic missions
Political:
- Ensure tracking of political meetings and connections, both in D.C. and around the country
- Help coordinate the planning and execution of National Policy Steering Committee meetings
- Assist in the research and development of background materials on legislation, policy initiatives, and elected officials
Antisemitism:
- Ensure effective and consistent project management for antisemitism trainings
- Aid in the implementation of virtual trainings
Department-wide:
- Coordinate and set-up internal and external meetings
- Assist with in-person events – invitation preparation, logistics, catering, location, etc.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with government, in an advocacy organization, in a lobbying capacity, in political campaigns, or in national organizing
- Bachelor's degree
- Team-player who collaborates seamlessly with colleagues and partners, strong interpersonal skills
- Capacity to speak with a non-partisan voice, echoing AJC’s thoughtful approach
- Proven success in crafting and implementing research projects and programs
- Interest and fluency in key AJC issues to include combating antisemitism, promoting Israel’s place in the world, American pluralism, hate crimes, American global leadership, and foreign policy
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow through on agreed upon initiatives
- Superior written and verbal communications skills
- A demonstrated commitment to the highest ethical standards and values consistent with those of AJC
