At the AJC Global Forum 2024 Monday Plenary, American Jewish Committee (AJC), honored three student groups with the AJC Sharon Greene Award for Campus Advocacy, recognizing their extraordinary leadership in confronting antisemitism on campuses at this tumultuous moment. We also heard from Ronald Liebowitz, President of Brandeis University, and University of Michigan President Santa Ono, on safeguarding Jewish life on campus in the current climate. In addition, we were joined by Cypriot Foreign Minister H.E. Constantinos Kombos and heard from Israeli Prime Minister H.E. Benjamin Netanyahu. A panel of leading Israeli journalists, representing a wide range of political and ideological perspectives, gave us an inside look at Israeli current affairs. And, in an emotional conclusion, we were moved by Nasreen Yousef’s incredible story of strength and defiance in the face of terror on October 7. She is a true hero of Israel.
