For more than 100 years, AJC has worked to advance understanding and respect among people of diverse backgrounds. This issue is no less urgent today that it was then. We face an urgent need to inspire our citizenry to embrace co-existence and work together to ensure tolerant, respectful, pluralistic communities – globally, nationally and locally. This challenge calls for strong leadership, and it is important that we recognize and celebrate those that provide it.

AJC New England’s Co-Existence Award was established to celebrate leaders who have contributed to a more peaceful, pluralistic and democratic world by advancing our collective commitment to co-existence. AJC New England is proud to recognize Colette Phillips – a member of AJC New England’s Leadership Board and a lifelong champion of diversity and inclusion -- as the winner of the 2018 AJC New England Co-Existence Award.

We hope you will join us on November 13, 2018 to recognize Colette’s passionate leadership.
