We are a group of 18 organizations committed to combating hate legislatively. Watch our Community of Conscience launch from November 10, 2020, here.
We find ourselves in a deeply divided and polarized America. Across the nation, hate crimes have been steadily rising, racial inequality has come to the forefront of the national and local conversation, immigrants have been defamed and disenfranchised, and many of our democratic ideals have been called into question. Our society is in need of a national and local effort to bring our diverse religious and ethnic groups together. The AJC Long Island Community of Conscience proclaims that the unifying promise of America must be advanced and upheld.
