AJC Meets with Consul General of Guatemala

AJC LA delegation led by Tali Klein, AJC Assistant Director for the Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs (BILLA),  and Jonathan Waxman, AJC Leaders, met for the first time with Consul General of Guatemala, José Barillas Trennert. They thanked his government for their continued support of Israel, i.e. moving their Embassy to Jerusalem, and expressed their support for immigration related legislation and efforts in California and on the congressional level, that particularly impact Guatemalans, such as family separation, DACA, and Asylum Seekers.
