In October 2022, over 100 American Jewish Committee (AJC) leaders and diplomatic partners participated in our 25th Diplomatic Tour. Diplomats from 25 countries and AJC leaders from New York, Westchester/Fairfield, Long Island, and New Jersey spent the morning touring and learning about the rich Jewish history of the Lower East Side.

Our friends from New York City's Consulates General and Permanent Missions joined us in a walking tour of East Broadway, visiting historic synagogues, and celebrating Sukkot as a global community. We thank our partners at Educational Alliance, Manny Cantor Center, Chinese-American Planning Council, Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy, Bialystoker Synagogue, Seward Park Cooperative, and Kehila Kedosha Janina for sharing with us the history and future of the Lower East Side.

A special thank you to our Diplomatic Tour Co-Chairs Rhonda Kirschner and Judith O'Neill for their leadership in planning this impactful and meaningful program.
