AJC CEO Ted Deutch was joined on stage by Israeli President Isaac Herzog during the opening plenary of AJC Global Forum 2023. Despite the ceremonial aspect of his role, President Herzog has used his unique credibility to reach out to all sectors of Israeli society to strengthen the social fabric of the Jewish state. He also routinely represents Israel on the world stage, making historic visits to the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Turkey.
