With a lengthy record of civic engagement and an exemplary legal career, it is fitting that Jason L. Peltz will receive this year’s Judge Learned Hand Human Relations Award on Thursday, September 21. This prestigious award is presented annually to a distinguished Chicago attorney who embodies Judge Learned Hand’s ideals of justice and who works to safeguard the rights of individuals and democratic values. Jason is the Managing Partner of Bartlit Beck LLP and has a national litigation practice, regularly handling cases before state and federal courts, arbitrators, and mediators across the country. Jason is currently a member of the board of directors of the Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center and the Midwest Ambassador Council of Birthright Israel Foundation.
