In response to deadly attacks against African Americans, including George Floyd, many Atlanta Jewish organizations came out with a joint statement. AJC Atlanta, ADL Southeast, the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, the Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta (JCRCA), and the Atlanta Rabbinical Associated, stated that these “slayings are part of a pattern of systemic violence against Black Americans that cannot continue.” AJC Atlanta is fostering important conversations on how the Jewish community can stand with the black community during this time.
