In an interview this morning on MSNBC, AJC CEO Ted Deutch addressed several critical issues about Israel’s mission to rescue the hostages and ensure that Hamas cannot carry out another 10/7 attack. In addition to making sure that Americans watching knew that six of their fellow citizens are among the 132 hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza, Ted also pointed out that Israel is fighting against Hamas and its chief backer Iran on seven fronts, and expressed his anguish about the deaths of the seven World Central Kitchen staff members. Ted also reiterated a key point that the world must not forget: It was Hamas, a terror organization bent on murdering Jews and eliminating Israel, who started this war on October 7 and are still holding hostages, including six Americans, inside Gaza.
