From the plenary stage at AJC Global Forum 2023, Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė delivered a compelling speech highlighting the importance of European relations with Israel, condemned Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine, denounced Russia’s growing alliance with Iran, called for further EU sanctions targeting Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Corps, and maintaining democratic unity. Finally, she also reflected on Israel's 75 years of independence, Lithuania’s rich Jewish history, and shared her vision for the future of Israel-Lithuania relations.
