Joanna Lieberman Snir
Joanna Lieberman Snir wears two hats at AJC, serving both as Director of the Leaders for Tomorrow (LFT) program and as Director of the national Leadership Development and Board Engagement department. As LFT Director, Joanna oversees 12 programs across the country and helps to steward continued expansion by finding new ways to innovate. In her broader leadership development role, Joanna works closely with AJC’s national Executive Council and national Board of Governors and helps develop initiatives to engage current leaders and find, identify, and recruit new ones. Prior to joining AJC, Joanna was a Senior Research Analyst at the Manhattan office of a boutique market research firm.
Joanna is a past participant in the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Diplomatic Seminar for Young Jewish Leadership and has served on the advisory board of the Cornell University Hillel Board of Trustees, the Tri-State Area Masa Alumni Board, and the New York City JDC Entwine planning group – having traveled to Kazakhstan and Ethiopia with JDC Entwine. Joanna earned a B.S. in Human Development from Cornell University with a concentration in cognitive studies. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Experiential Jewish Education at The George Washington University.
