The popular online American Jewish Committee (AJC) Advocacy Anywhere sessions have surpassed half a million viewers across the United States and around the world.
“During the Coronavirus pandemic, AJC is expanding its global reach,” said AJC CEO David Harris. “With the availability of amazing communications technologies and a social media platform of over 2.3 million followers, AJC has pivoted from traditional in-person diplomacy and advocacy to interaction through online and other means.”

An Overview of the Global Interreligious Scene Today, March 31, featuring Rabbi David Rosen, AJC International Director of Interreligious Affairs, has been viewed by more than 31,000. Rabbi Rosen provided a first-hand overview of the state interreligious relations, including with the Christian and Muslim worlds.
The Soviet Jewry Movement (Part 2), April 1, with AJC CEO David Harris has been seen by more than 76,000 and, together with Part 1, by more than 212,000 viewers. Harris, a leading activist in the movement in the 1970s and 1980s, spoke about the exodus of Soviet Jews and their resettlement journey through Europe and on to, principally, Israel and the U.S.
The End of Liberal Democracy In Europe? April 2, with AJC Europe Director Simone Rodan-Benzaquen, has been viewed by more than 41,000. Rodan discussed increasing antisemitism and extremism, and the rise of far left and far right parties, on the European continent.
Spain and the Coronavirus, April 3, with Spain‘s Ambassador to the United States, Santiago Cabanas, and Isaac Querub, President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Spain, in conversation with Dina Siegel Vann, Director of AJC’s Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin American Affairs. The program has been viewed by more than 23,000.
