Founded in 2019, the AJC Dallas bipartisan Community of Conscience Coalition is a multi-faith, multi-ethnic body of civic, religious, and elected leaders. Its mission is to unite our diverse community to elevate the values of pluralism, civil discourse, and mutual respect. The coalition has convened critical community discussions on these topics as well as conversations on fighting antisemitism, bigotry, and hate.

The program included a presentation of the Inaugural Community of Conscience Award for Bipartisanship to Congressman Colin Allred (D-32) and Congressman Van Taylor (R-3) as well as panel discussion on the topics of Advancing Democratic Values featuring Lindsay Lloyd, Bradford M. Freeman Director of the Human Freedom Initiative at the George W. Bush Institute with Nicole Bibbins Sedaca, Executive Vice President of Freedom House and AJC’s Approach to Coalition Building featuring Consul General Francisco de la Torre Galindo of Mexico; Mohamed Elibiary, Co-Chair of the Muslim-Jewish Advisory Council; and Harriet Whiting, President of AJC Dallas.
