More than 150 people attended an in-person dinner on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, while others logged on to Zoom to watch as William (Bill) Barrett, M.D, received the 2021 AJC National Human Relations Award for his outstanding and tireless leadership and invaluable contributions to our community. Dr. Barrett is co-director of the University of Cincinnati (UC) Cancer Center, professor and chair of the department of Radiation Oncology at the UC College of Medicine, and Medical Director of the UC Health Barrett Cancer Center. AJC CEO David Harris served as the featured speaker in conversation with AJC Cincinnati President Noah Stern. Event co-chairs were Eileen and John Barrett, Patricia and Dr. Andrew Filak, Francie and Tom Hiltz.
