Last week, AJC Los Angeles won the Richard Berkman and Toni Seidl Award for Excellence in Interreligious and Intergroup Relations! The internal AJC award honors one of the regional offices for outstanding work in relationship building and impactful programming.

AJC LA won the award for our “Visas for Life” program in partnership with JAPAN House Los Angeles, the Japanese American Cultural and Community Center (JACCC), and the Consulate of Japan in Los Angeles. The program honored the legacy of Japanese Consul Chiune Sugihara, who saved the lives of thousands of Jews fleeing the Holocaust.
