In honor of the 75th anniversary of Israel’s rebirth, AJC Global Forum—the premier annual global Jewish advocacy event—returned to Israel, convening for the first time in Tel Aviv. The Opening Plenary featured addresses from world leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, European Commission Vice President Margaritis Schinas, and Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrida Šimonytė. It also included a special discussion on Israeli current affairs featuring several leading Israeli journalists as well as a one-on-one talk between AJC CEO Ted Deutch and Leader of the Opposition Yair Lapid and then later with Israeli President Isaac Herzog.
