The State of Antisemitism in America 2021 Demographic Breakdown by Census Region
Below please find a breakdown of key findings from the parallel surveys comprising AJC’s State of Antisemitism in America 2021 report, shown for various audiences in comparison to the national average. All groupings have at least 200 in the disaggregated sample size (n>200, usually). The below demographic breakdown consists of the responses from 550 Jews from the Northeast Census region; 206 Jews from the Midwest Census region; 364 from the South Census region; and 313 from the West Census region. The Survey of U.S. Adults polls 215 adults from the Northeast; 242 adults from the Midwest Census region; 472 adults from the South Census region; and 285 adults from the West Census region. The margin of error for the two parallel surveys is +/- 3.9% at the 95% confidence level; the margin of error for each demographic breakdown will be slightly larger.
