At the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, American Jewish Committee (AJC), the global advocacy organization for the Jewish people, convened a panel discussion with experts who discussed Israel’s right to self-defense and security, governance in Gaza, the Iranian regime and its network of terror, the Jewish state’s relationship with Arab countries in the Gulf, and much more.

The past academic year was challenging for many Jewish students on college campuses, in high schools and even in some elementary and middle schools.

This week, on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention, AJC hosted a program on Israel and the path to peace with Ambassador Thomas R. Nides, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Halie Soifer, CEO of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, and Illinois Congressman Brad Schneider (D-IL).
