American Jewish Committee applauds Texas Governor Greg Abbott for signing today legislation (HB3257) establishing the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission. AJC Dallas Director Joel Schwitzer and Houston Director Randy Czarlinsky were present for the signing.

Lt. Col. (res.) Avital Leibovich, Director of American Jewish Committee (AJC) Jerusalem, was honored by Albania President Ilir Meta with the Gjergj Kastrioti Scanderbeg Order knighthood, the Muslim nation’s second-highest national award.
