The Working Definition of Antisemitism is being utilized by various government and non-government agencies to train police, prosecutors, and judges and to inform civil society monitors and educators.
The following countries have adopted the IHRA Working Definition of Antisemitism (as of September 2019): Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Kosovo, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Moldova, The Netherlands, North Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, and United Kingdom
Mayor Eric Garcetti chaired an AJC delegation of U.S. mayors in Israel from May 11 to 17. The mission, organized by AJC Project Interchange, met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin and explored numerous facets of Israeli society. The seminar enhanced U.S.-Israel relations and marked the first delegation under the support of a new Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. Conference of Mayors and AJC.
