In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Jewish state, AJC Global Forum, the premier global Jewish advocacy conference of the year, made its return to Israel, June 11-14, 2023.
In July 2023, the majority of the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) began what many anticipate will be Israel’s judicial overhaul, passing legislation that would limit the Israeli Supreme Court’s ability to review the “reasonableness” of government decisions.
On September 20, 2023 the American Jewish Committee (AJC) Human Dignity Award was given to Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah, the President of the Abu Dhabi Forum for Peace and Chair of the Islamic Law Council of the United Arab Emirates.
