AJC St. Louis connects our community with American Jewish Committee’s global advocacy work to enhance the well-being of the Jewish people and Israel. Through access to diplomats, elected officials, and interfaith leaders, our action at the local level advances AJC’s broader priorities: combating antisemitism, promoting Israel’s place in the world, and countering the spread of radicalism and extremism.
Our impact extends well beyond the St. Louis community, helping AJC achieve tangible results in the form of government policies, formidable alliances, and hard-hitting legislation that make our world safer and more secure.
From the statehouse to college campuses, we fight the BDS movement, the delegitimization of Israel, and draw attention to Iran’s nefarious and destabilizing behavior. We engage in legislative advocacy with Missouri’s political leadership at the state and federal levels.
AJC St. Louis also works to strengthen ties between the Jewish community and other religious and ethnic groups, including a strong partnership with the archdiocese of St. Louis.
Before coming to AJC, Nancy Lisker worked as an advertising executive, developing marketing strategies for Fortune 500 clients at The Leo Burnett Company.
