AJC today responded to a statement yesterday by California Governor Gavin Newsom on new efforts to fight hate and discrimination and a letter from the governor to school districts regarding a curriculum for ethnic studies.
Now in its second year, AJC New York Empowered Parents was inspired by New York parents and caregivers concerned about a troubling lack of understanding of Jewish identity, instances of antisemitism, and unbalanced conversation about Israel emerging in their children's schools.
Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, U.S. Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, joins AJC's People of the Pod to discuss how she’s settled into her new role and to share insights on the development of the new U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, which AJC has long advocated for.
